Formed originally in 1959 Harding began life manufacturing sewing machines. By 1963 it had shifted its focus into the traffic industry and was the first company to install and maintain traffic signals in New Zealand.

As the traffic industry developed, Harding Traffic, diversified into other traffic related products such as barrier arms, car parking systems and bollards to ensure it could provide a suite of “turnkey” systems to its growing and varied customer base.

Our long history in the industry helped enormously with our approach to business as we know we are only as good as our last installation.  We focus on customer interaction and dedication to seeing projects completed with technical competence - tidily, efficiently, correctly and following through with a work guarantee and follow up on service and advice.
